CAMDEN - Memorial service for Pauline Griswold, 73, will be held Friday at 6:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Rev. Bryan Plyler will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital and to The Autism Society.
Ms. Griswold died Tuesday, November 10, 2009. Born in Lincolnton, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Cletus H. Carroll and Ora Belle Evans Carroll of Camden. She retired from Providence Hospital where she was a LPN. She enjoyed reading, embroidery and gardening.
She is survived by daughters, Mary Griswold and Margaret Griswold both of Camden; son, Mark (Karen) Griswold of Camden; and grandchildren, Darius Raeisi, Steven Griswold, and Jack Griswold. She was predeceased by a sister, Peggy Ann Stokes and a grandchild, Michael Griswold.
The family extends their thanks to Hospice Care of Tri County for their tireless efforts for everything they have done for the family and their mother during this very difficult time.
