CASSATT-Funeral service for Claudia Moore Reynolds, 91, will be held Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cassatt Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Kershaw County.
Mrs. Reynolds, wife of the late James Wesley Reynolds, died Saturday, February 13, 2010. Born in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late Clinton and Emily Robbins Moore. She was the oldest surviving member of Cassatt Baptist Church and the Aldelphia Sunday School Class.
Surviving are sons, James William Reynolds (Mary Ann) of Hartsville, and Robert Wesley Reynolds (Linda) of Cassatt; daughters, Alice Tollison (Charles) of Columbia, Faye Eiff (Dutch) of Texas, Debbera Hussey (James) of Cassatt, Patricia Newman (Butch) of Camden, Florrie Dewitt (Joe) of Hartsville and Alma Branham (James) of Rock Hill; sister, Sara Hancock of Ocala, Fla.; 34 grandchildren; 50+ great-grandchildren; and numerous great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by children, Margie Lee Reynolds, Jessie Reynolds, Iva Mae Smith, Frank Reynolds, Gordon Reynolds, and Eula Rose; brothers, Wade Moore, Cy Moore, Clyde Moore, and Dick Moore; and sisters, Annie Sanders and Jackie Miller.
